This website is dedicated to arguably one of the best rigid Mountainbikes ever made in the history of the sport. The Wilderness Trail Bikes Phoenix.

That’s a big statement, i know. But those who ever owned one and those still own one today will probably agree to it. I had the idea for this site ages ago, when i registered the domain back in (i can’t remember) with the purpose of consolidating all existing data and pictures about the history of the Phoenix and also to collect pictures of currently still in use bikes from all over the world. It is supposed to be a testimony to the great work of the creators of the Phoenix – namely Steve Potts, Charlie Cunningham and Mark Slate.
